Type 12+ months with potential to extend Location Downtown Minneapolis (Hybrid 60% remote, 40% onsite Client Domain Financial Domain Exp required 9+ years Key Responsibilities : Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for money transfer projects.
Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. System Design and Documentation : Develop detailed system specifications, including data flow diagrams, process models, and technical documentation.
Ensure that system designs meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements. Project Management : Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation and post-launch support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and customer service, to ensure project success.
Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance meet specified requirements.
Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner. Stakeholder Communication : Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all money transfer systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary system adjustments. Qualifications : Bachelor'
s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
Proven experience with money transfer projects and payment processing systems. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to money transfers and financial transactions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
Must Skills : Experience with Agile project management methodologies. Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional Familiarity with money transfer platforms such as SWIFT, ACH, and wire transfer systems.
