Overview

Position Summary :

The program specialist will provide training and technical assistance to HIV service organizations working with youth in Los Angeles County.

The program specialist will be responsible for design, delivery, and evaluation of training and technical assistance activities.

Training topics may include youth engagement, youth-adult partnerships, and facilitation of youth community advisory boards.

Position is in-person and will involve periodic local travel.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience :

2+ or more years designing and delivering trainings for community-based agencies. Content expertise in HIV prevention preferred.

The ability to interact with the diverse group of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, providers, community partners and leaders in the field.

Education / Licensure / Certification :

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Pay Scale Information

USD $46,800.00 - USD $84,364.80

CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
