The Maintenance technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure in optimal working condition.
the role requires a strong technical and electrical background attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Duties :
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance in equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical system (24-volt, 120-volt, 220-volt, and 480-volt), plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting issues and performing necessary repairs or replacements in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
Qualifications :
- Ability to troubleshoot processing equipment
- Mechanical ability to change motors bearings, rollers etc.
- Plumbing
- Maintenance experience
- Ability to take directions
- Ability to work in a cold environment (36-40 degrees) for extensive periods of time
- Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
Working Conditions :
- No heating or air conditioning
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Industrial equipment, including moving conveyors and other electrically energizes machinery
- Heavy forklift traffic
- Concrete flooring, often wet
- Some cold air areas (36-40 degrees)
- Noise Level : High
- May be required to crouch
- Required to regularly sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
- Must be able to walk frequently on flat terrain
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion
