Description

The Senior Project Manager - Hotel / Hospitality - Maryland responsibilities include :

Project Planning and Scheduling :

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with architects and engineers to meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Identify critical milestones and manage project schedules.

Contract Management :

  • Oversee contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance and performance.
  • Negotiate terms for favorable outcomes and monitor contract adherence.

Budgeting and Cost Control :

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and review financial documents for accuracy.

Team Leadership and Coordination :

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings to update team members and resolve conflicts.

Quality Assurance and Compliance :

  • Maintain high standards of construction and craftsmanship through quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and conduct inspections.

Risk Management :

  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Promote safety protocols and address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Client Communication and Relationship Management :

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing expectations and resolving issues.
  • Provide regular updates and cultivate positive client relationships to encourage repeat business.

Profile

The Senior Project Manager - Hotel / Hospitality - Maryland will have :

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with a commercial General Contractor.
  • Proven experience managing projects ranging from $1M to $20M+.
  • Hospitality project experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
