Cowin Equipment Company, Inc is seeking to hire an Accounting Clerk for our Birmingham, AL location.

Responsibilities :
- Code and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system for payment.
- Code and assist with employee expense reimbursements.
- Assist with weekly check run.
Ensure that invoices are paid within specified vendor terms.
- Maintain files and documentation accurately and in accordance with company policy.
- Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Deposit checks and properly apply payment to customer accounts.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties, as needed.
- Backup for front desk position to answer phones.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail; willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
