The Customer Service Desk is the first point of contact for incoming patrons. The is one of the most important roles in the stores.
As a Customer Service Associate, you are ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and concerns.

Summary of the position :
Our customer service desk team greet customers upon entering the store, answers and forwards all incoming calls, responds to customer questions, comments, and complaints (involving management when necessary).
The team p rocesses and updates customer requests for company Perx Card (our company loyalty card). Customer service associates s ells and cash New York State Lottery transactions while adhering to all state and county regulations.
The team p roperly process cash transactions, all forms of payments and discounts, EBT, WIC, coupons, and store discounts.
What we look for in you :
Part time availability - with at least two afternoon / evenings during the week and one weekend day
At least 2 years of friendly and welcoming customer service; previous cashiering experience required; previous lead / key holder experience preferred
Grocery and / or retail experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills with an ability to handle stressful situations carefully
Highly motivated individual
Team player with the ability to work independently at times
Ability to multitask
Focused and efficient
The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
