As an Onin Teammate you are part of a metal fab team that uses a variety of tools and skills.
- Flux Core welding experience- REQUIRED
- Operate a metal hole punch
- Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter
- Chip or grind of excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
Work Experience
- Basic shop safety knowledge
- Steel toe shoes / boots
- Experience in flux core welding
- Willingness to work and learn on the job!
- Come to work with a good attitude
- Dependable- Demonstrated ability to be depended on to do what is needed and asked of. Worthy of trust. Reliable resource who can be counted on
- Goal Oriented- Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result
- Accuracy- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
