Consulting, Solution Specialist

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions.

Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support.

Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture.

Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements.

Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have one year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires one year of related work experience in each of the following :

• Conducting unit testing of web services and web applications, using SoapUI, Jasmine, Karma, Wave evaluation tool, axe DevTools, and Job Access With Speech (JAWS) accessibility testing;
• Developing domain classes and database access methods, using .NET Framework, C#, and VB.NET;
• Creating web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL, ADO.NET, Angular JS, JQuery, and Agile Methodology to provide service and data to users;
• Designing and developing applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server Analytic Services to meet functional needs for software applications;
• Architecting, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies;
• Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design / development, and systems development utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Integration Services; and
• Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS).

Hours : M-F, 40 hours / week
