We are currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our diverse and dynamic team in our Lenexa, KS clinic.
Functions and Responsibilities

- Receive samples from accessioning. Segregate and distribute samples to the lab. 45%
- Assists with set up and management of samples for analysis. 10%
- Monitor and print pending lists. 5%
- Retrieve samples for add on testing. 5%
- Locate misplaced samples. 5%
- Retrieve / return samples from long-term storage for testing per lab request. 5%
- Collate and transfer samples for long term storage. 5%
- Specimen storage, rotation and disposal. 5%
- Distribute all samples. 5%
- Assists with maintaining quality control.4%
- Inventory logs.4%
- Performs other relevant tasks as requested. 1%
- Participates in required Continuous Professional Education Programs, including conferences, internal journal club and lectures, as required. 1%
- Travel - domestic or international 0%
