BRAND MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY :
Our client, a faith-based charitable giving foundation, is seeking a Brand Manager to join their team. This critical role will ensure brand consistency and effectively integrate the organization’s value proposition across all touchpoints, including brand assets, offerings, portfolios, and digital channels, focusing on customer journey experiences.
The Brand Manager will lead brand integration projects while supporting ongoing initiatives, serving as a key voice in articulating the value proposition and ensuring consistency at every interaction.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in journey mapping and experience design, both of which are crucial for enhancing user experiences within this service-oriented organization.
We are looking for someone passionate about branding who can maintain brand consistency, strengthen the brand's connection with its audiences, and drive engagement with existing and potential donors.
This role reports to the VP of Brand Strategy & Experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure seamless brand integration across all touchpoints for a consistent experience.
- Develop and implement brand guidelines for organization-wide use, maintaining consistency and integrity.
- Lead brand-centric campaigns and projects, aligning them with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to manage digital presence and ensure brand consistency across all projects, including website, social media, and online campaigns.
- Contribute to modernizing the master brand image, messaging, and visual identity to align with brand strategy and remain competitive in the giving market, including sub-brand applications.
- Work with the Customer Experience Lead and teams to implement digital enhancements, utilizing journey mapping and design techniques to improve stakeholder experiences.
- Analyze and optimize user journey touchpoints to better communicate our unique value and increase engagement.
- Partner with various teams to identify target audiences, define positioning, and develop value propositions for specific offerings.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of brand initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Lead initiatives to proactively integrate the brand, including launching new programs.
- Provide regular reports on brand performance, including key metrics and actionable recommendations.
- Offer thought leadership to marketing strategies and other departments to support demand-generation efforts.
- Lead team skill development, sharing personal expertise to enhance team capabilities.
- Attend networking meetings and conferences with strategic ministry partners as needed.
- Participate in or facilitate ad hoc collaboration sessions with stakeholders as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or communications, with experience in the nonprofit or charitable sector preferred.
Additional expertise in marketing and branding within the financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of brand strategy, marketing planning, and content creation.
- Proven track record in leading brand integration projects and managing brand identity across various touchpoints.
- Effective project management skills, with a focus on successful execution, data collection, and generating actionable insights for future initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating the brand's voice and value proposition clearly.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to support and enhance brand-related projects.
- Proficiency in analyzing brand performance and implementing data-driven improvements to optimize marketing strategies and better engage the target audience.
- Understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and preferences to drive strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Expertise in mapping the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints, and enhancing the overall customer experience through experience design.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and drive customer-focused strategies that enhance brand perception and loyalty.
- Ability to adapt to evolving customer trends, technologies, and market dynamics, with a commitment to continuous learning and applying new insights to enhance the customer experience.
