We are in search of a Network Engineer to join our team located in TROY, Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to work in the technology industry, specifically focusing on network support and management.
Your role will be pivotal in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving connectivity issues for our clients while maintaining the integrity of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity issues for both wired and wireless networks
- Carry out the configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches
- Manage Cisco Wireless Access Points, Bridges, and Controllers
- Work with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP)
- Utilize Cisco SD-WAN and vManage platform
- Operate Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama platform
- Employ bulk management tools such as Ansible, SolarWinds, Python, Cisco DNA / Catalyst Center
- Maintain knowledge of SolarWinds and ServiceNow platforms
- Create clear and detailed technical documents and procedures
- Continuously learn and grow through both outside and in-house training
- Travel to remote dealerships as needed to provide network support
- Proficiency in Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies
- Experience with Cisco ASA Firewall, Cisco CCNA, and Cisco CCNP
- Cisco Certification is required
- Familiarity with Cisco Firewall, Cisco Hardware, and Cisco Networking
- Ability to operate Cisco Webex Meetings and Cisco WebEx
- Knowledge of Cisco Wireless and Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP)
- Experience in managing VLAN and VoIP
- Proficiency in ECM and Meraki
- Must be able to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in Information Technology
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and network management methodologies.
