The Staffing Consultant will oversee a full cycle recruiting operation that is focused on sourcing, engaging, and recruiting the nation’s best specialty physicians for locum tenens work.
This role is responsible for managing and optimizing a multi-channel national recruiting program that identifies, targets, and engages highly qualified candidates in multiple clinical specialties.
Specific responsibilities include lead generation, inbound recruiting campaigns, online professional networking campaigns, identifying talent and workforce trends, conference attendance, general pipeline management, candidate follow up, recruiting and onboarding, process improvement initiatives, regular communications as well as regular reporting.Duties / Responsibilities :
- Act as a single point of contact for physicians and advanced practice clinicians, coordinating all aspects of temporary independent contractor services.
- Use proactive and assertive sales techniques over the phone and via email to recruit physicians.
- Apply in-depth research techniques and strategies to find pools of top physician talent to best fit our healthcare facility partner(s) unique needs.
- Collaborate with support teams to help candidates move through the recruitment process (licensing, credentialing, certifications, education, references, malpractice evaluation, background verification, and travel arrangements).
- Gauge physician’s interest in working locum tenens assignments.
- Participate in conferences, job fairs and other physician recruitment opportunities.
- Make a minimum of 50-60 calls per day to accomplish team and individual objectives.
- Negotiate physician contracts consistent with gross margin objectives.
- Facilitate placement of physicians by working closely with our client sales representatives and colleagues.
- Respond to inquiries about job postings.
- Support, grow and maintain a monthly book of business.
- Help ensure a smooth transition for new providers into a locum tenens assignment.
- Utilize Fusion's Applicant Tracking System (Salesforce) to identify business opportunities, fulfill assignments and maintain all provider information.
- Maintain a high level of provider satisfaction.
- Meet all production goals as set by management.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills / Abilities / Attributes :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
- Ability to take instruction from multiple sources and to manage deliverables accordingly.
- Exceptional judgment and active foresight.
- Ability to professionally persuade and influence verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of the physician credentialing process.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial data and compute profit margins.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment, successfully integrating individual work efforts to meet team objectives.
- Ability to grow relationships within a book of business.
- Effective negotiation skills
- Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively and comfortably make cold calls to providers.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years in a recruitment role preferred.
- Prior locum tenens experience preferred.
- Prior experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of internet recruitment tools.
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
