This role sits within the Integration and Delivery team. The Integration and Delivery team has a clear mission : to provide robust support and continuous improvement to both existing and new applications, spanning clinical and corporate realms.
Our focus is on optimising workflow, ensuring systems are responsive, intuitive to use, and easy to access.
At the helm of the Integration and Delivery function are the Group Managers, who hold key relationships with internal and external partners.
This collaborative approach ensures the alignment of demand and delivery, ultimately resulting in an end-to-end service for all stakeholders.
We prioritize the support of Data and Digital systems and services, assisting users through changes related to system implementations and facilitating ongoing use and adoption of technology.
Furthermore, the Integration and Delivery function carries responsibility for various elements of PMO functions, spanning from the PMO Centre of Excellence to the actual delivery function within each region.
As a member of the Integration and Delivery team, you'll play a crucial part in advancing our commitment to seamless integration, enhanced services, and a holistic approach to digital solutions.

Mōu About you
The role of Manager Solution Design is to lead the solution architecture function and its associated team(s), overseeing both people and their activities.
As the Manager, you'll hold responsibility for the allocated budget within the function and delegate staff responsibilities across the teams to effectively achieve the function's objectives, while providing support to the broader Data and Digital group.
As the leader of the Solution Design Team, you will ensure that all solutions developed by the team adhere to established design principles and practices and addresses the needs of solution stakeholders.
All while incorporating requirements from enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps, security and privacy, and operational considerations.
Overall, your leadership as the Manager Solution Design will contribute to the effective development of solutions that meet high standards of quality and alignment with strategic objectives.
Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako Skills and experience
- Expertise in Solution Architecture principles and practices, and a good understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.
- A sound understanding and experience of service delivery principles, business planning and risk management
- Previous experience at a senior management level of not less than five years, ideally from one or more of government, healthcare, and IT service delivery sectors
- Broad IT experience with at least ten years in senior roles with responsibly for complex solution design and design evaluation
- Experience in preparing decision and information papers for senior executives and boards
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience
- Previous experience engaging with strategic vendors at management and operational levels
- Previous experience managing, leading and developing IT staff across operational, change and engagement areas
