Job Summary & Essential Functions

The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the facility. This includes 1st tier technical support for end-users and equipment.

  • Provide end-user support including troubleshooting, problem-solving, follow-up and documentation for all users, working to resolve wherever possible
  • Assists users with questions or issues in person, via telephone, email or remote support
  • Serves as lead administrator for one or more enterprise-level systems
  • Maintain the help-desk ticket system to analyze and prevent future recurring issues
  • Install hardware and software within the facility
  • Maintain computer equipment, printers and other electronic devices
  • Assist with larger projects to achieve desired results
  • Maintain inventory of toner and required supplies
  • Install network cabling as needed
  • Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Windows 7 / Windows10 operating systems on various PC and notebook configurations
  • Advanced proficiency with networking, including Switch and VLAN configuration (Fortinet, Aruba, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency with Office365, Active Directory, Group Policy Object management, Azure and Powershell
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and delivering results
  • Ability to handle day-to-day support tickets and deliver results on long term project work
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to deliver results on-time
  • Ability to evaluate cybersecurity trends and implement mitigation techniques
  • Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with all levels of the organization and customers
  • Abilities listed in the General Requirements for Team Members
  • Experience and demonstrated experience with Cybersecurity solutions and implementing solutions to enhance the Cybersecurity posture of the organization or site
  • Business partner and customer focused mindset

Required Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, prefer associates degree in related technical field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant job experience
