Highland Care Center, a 320 bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a Recreation Supervisor, who is a team player with a great personality.
The candidate will maintain standards for scheduling and documentation established by policies and regulatory requirements.
This candidate will provide in room activities and 1 : 1 visit for residents who are unable to attend daily events. They will create a monthly calendar and attend care plan meetings.
They will develop, organize and implement activities to meet the therapeutic needs of residents. They will coordinate assistance for events as necessary.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required.
One year related experience.
Knowledge of aging process and various resident activities.
Ability to assume leadership role in absence of Director.
Be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
