Soliant Education is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bilingual Math Teacher (Spanish) to join our team in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
This full-time, full-year position offers a rewarding opportunity to teach secondary students in a bilingual environment, fostering their mathematical skills and academic growth.
Responsibilities :
- Instruction : Deliver engaging math lessons in both Spanish and English to secondary students.
- Lesson Planning : Create and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assessment : Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaboration : Work with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance the educational experience.
- Classroom Environment : Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and success.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Certification : Valid NY State teaching certification.
- Language Proficiency : Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Experience : Previous experience teaching secondary math in a bilingual setting preferred.
- Skills : Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Work Style : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Contract Details :
- Duration : Full-time hours for the entire academic year.
- Type : Contracted hourly position through Soliant Education.
- pensation : petitive hourly rate with benefits package.
