Job Title : Automation Controls Engineer

Location Mesquite, TX (Onsite – 5 days / week)

Job Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire

Salary : $115,000–$140,000 / year

Job Description :

We’re working with one of the top global manufacturers in their industry to find an experienced Automation Controls Engineer . This role plays a key part in supporting and improving manufacturing automation processes — we’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

You’ll join a team of 8 engineers, working directly on automation processes within a high-tech manufacturing facility. Your expertise in automated guided vehicles (AGVs), PLCs, and robotics will be critical in maintaining and evolving the plant’s automation systems.

Requirements :

• 8+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or related field
• Strong background with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Experience with automated guided vehicles (AGVs)
• Familiarity with robotic systems in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required (We will consider candidates without a degree if they have 20+ years of relevant experience)
