Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager for a high-demand direct hire role with our esteemed client.
The position carries an impressive compensation package in the range of $115-130K with bonus, along with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
In your role as Tax Manager you will primarily deal with Federal and State Tax Compliance, which entails preparing federal and state income tax return workpapers, assisting with requests for income tax credit calculations, and filing and tracking state income tax estimated and extension payments.
Your responsibilities will also cover transfer pricing, financial reporting, preparing income tax provisions, reviewing fixed asset additions, and manage monthly tax entries and quarterly tax account reconciliations.
In addition, you will assist with tax audits, respond to IRS and state audit defenses and notices, and provide support for data requests from our external auditors.
This global company is looking for a candidate with a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with at least 4 years of relevant tax experience ideally in a corporate global setting.
Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills are a must, Candidates with a graduate degree in Tax, Finance, or Accounting, and a CPA designation are favored.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation of federal and state income tax return workpapers
- Assist with requests for income tax credit calculations
- Manage the filing and tracking of state income tax estimated and extension payments
- Oversee the transfer pricing operations and financial reporting tasks
- Prepare income tax provisions and review fixed asset additions
- Manage monthly tax entries and quarterly tax account reconciliations
- Assist with tax audits and respond to IRS and state audit defenses and notices
- Provide support for data requests from external auditors
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for various tasks
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years of tax experience,-public as well as industry experience is desired
- Proficiency in Annual Income Tax Provision, Auditing, Compliance, Federal Tax, Federal Tax Return, and Income Tax Provision is required.
- Expertise in Monthly Sales Tax, Sales Tax Returns, and Sales Tax is essential.
- Familiarity with Global Transfer Pricing is a must.
- CPA certification is required.
- Ability to perform Journal Entry Preparation is necessary.
- Should have a strong understanding of corporate tax laws and regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, a Master's degree is preferred.
