Description :
Provide program management support to a Navy client program office to a program in the Information Operations Team. Provide understanding to support a Navy client in tracking and management of routine program tasks, including data calls, scheduling meetings, collaborating with a cross functional team to achieve APM-stated objectives, building and tracking changes to program spend plans.
Assist APM and PSS team to monitor cost, schedule, and performance of multiple development efforts, using tools like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and author documentation and presentations in support of program decisions.
Ability to coordinate with functional and technical experts on program documentation to facilitate program planning. Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings as needed.
Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management support.
Required Skills
- Experience with acquisition management, preferably with Navy, SPAWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of programs under the Defense Acquisition System
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to self-start, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- 1-4yrs DoD Acquisition Command Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of DoD DoD / SECNAV 5000 instructions
- Knowledge of DoD DoD / SECNAV 5000 instructions, and Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks (AAF)
- Experience with analytical activities for U.S. government acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, test and evaluation, trade studies, or architecture design for U.
S. government processes
