Responsibilities
- The Java / Spring / Angular / AWS Developer will work in the domain of software engineering, growing competence, independence, and responsibility.
- Drive innovative, scalable solution delivery, undertaking complex changes without the need for direction of an experienced team member whilst safeguarding system stability.
- Actively participate and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
- The Java / Spring / Angular / AWS Developer will support their team in formal ceremonies, such as sprint demos, as well as in casual conversation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent is required.
- 10+ years of experience in the domain of software engineering, with evidence of growing competence, independence, and responsibility.
- First-hand expertise engineering with a variety of front end, middle tier, and back end technologies (e.g. JAVA, Angular7, Spring framework, Oracle, APIs, AWS, etc.).
- DevOps / CICD experience (Jenkins, uDeploy, GIT) is preferred.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Some experience with shell scripting (e.g. ksh, Bash scripting) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices is a plus.
