Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Application Architect to lead their SaaS solutions for our Corporate Human Resources and Payroll organization.
Workday will be the primary application supported as well as other HR SaaS systems with general support, enhancements, and new projects.
The overall responsibilities will include architecting, designing, scoping, and planning HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and other HCM functions with a primary focus on technology, data, process, security, and integrations.
Other responsibilities include hands-on support / implementation of integrations, user security, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, vendor management, and coordination with other teams.
In addition, this role will analyze business and system problems and recommend automated solutions, processes, and procedures for improvement.
The experience in individual is required to create system specifications, configure system settings, and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing.
The individual will also lead cross-functional teams to address system, interface, data, and vendor issues.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
6+ years of BSA experience, including 2+ years in a lead role with proven ability to deliver.
5+ years of proven experience leading and supporting Workday integrations through design, development, testing, configuration, and deployment.
Detailed understanding of Workday Core framework & architecture, and knowledge on HR, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management and Payroll is desired.
Provides estimates on effort, defining requirements, designing and developing the solution using Workday Integrations - Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, and Workday Studio(optional).
Knowledge and hands on experience with languages including XSLT, XTT / ETV.
Deep understanding of Workday Web Services, PICOF, PECI, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and WSDL.
Experience with iterative or agile software development methodologies.
Provides guidance and mentor junior BSAs and Developers on Workday Integration tools
Understanding of the technical architecture of the business applications, platforms, interfaces, and data structure.
Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.
Ability to create detailed and complex test plans for medium-sized to large initiatives.
Ability to create functional, technical and interface specifications.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with external vendors and managing work to achieve a successful strategic objective.
