Job Summary :

The Academic Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality academic programming and data compliance in the Community Learning Center (CLC). This position is responsible for coordinating the academic components of the CLC Program Plan, aligning program activities with grant goals, supporting student achievement, and tracking outcomes. The Academic Coordinator collaborates with school leadership, teachers, and stakeholders to design, monitor, and evaluate programs that meet the needs of students with the greatest academic challenges. This is a grant-funded position, and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

• Assist the Site Coordinator, Principal, Lead Agency, and other stakeholders from the CLC team in developing an annual, DPI-ready CLC Program Plan and Needs Assessment.
• Coordinate the collection, analysis, and evaluation of student achievement data to drive academic programming and meet grant goals and outcomes.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining students with the greatest academic need based on established criteria, including benchmark scores, grades, and referrals.
• Collect, monitor, evaluate, and share student data to measure program effectiveness.
• Report student progress to the School Learning Team, School Governance Council, parents, school staff, and the community as required by DPI.
