Musthave skills : 35 y of exp in datamanagement metadata management data governance or informationmanagement; exp with data dictionaries and data cataloging toolsand platforms such as Informatica;

exp with metadata standards andframeworks such as Dublin Core ISO 19115 and FGDCCSDGM

PREFERRED : Proficiency in data profiling and data analysistechniques using tools like SQL Excel or data profiling software;

Basic understanding of datarelated technologies and tools such asETL data warehouses and data lakes; Basic understanding of datavisualization and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense.

Additional information : Thecandidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview isrequested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individualwho will be assigned to work with our client.

Requirements :

• Availability to work 100% at the Clients site in Tallahassee FL(required);
• Experience in management metadata managementdata governance or information management (3 years);
• Familiarity with data dictionaries and data cataloging tools andplatforms such as Informatica;
• Understanding of datagovernance principles data quality data stewardship practices andregulatory compliance requirements;
• Knowledge ofmetadata standards and frameworks such as Dublin Core ISO 19115 andFGDCCSDGM;
• Familiarity with environmental science waterquality or related fields;
• Experience in data managementmetadata management data governance or information management in ascientific or environmental context;
• Proficiency in dataprofiling and data analysis techniques using tools like Excel orprofiling software;
• Basic understanding of relatedtechnologies and tools such as ETL warehouses and lakes;

Basic understanding of visualization and reporting tools such asQlik Sense.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Identify catalog and classify assets including datasets databasesand metadata;
• Work with data stewards to develop andmaintain standardized metadata descriptions for data assetscapturing key attributes such as data source format structurequality and usage restrictions;
• Define and implementdata classification schemas taxonomies and ontologies to organizeand categorize data assets according to IT standards domainspecifictopics themes and attributes;
• Conduct data profiling andquality assessment activities to evaluate the completeness accuracyand consistency of data assets identifying data gaps anomalies anderrors together with the data stewards and datasource SubjectMatter Experts (SMEs);
• Collaborate with data governancemembers to establish and enforce data cataloging policies standardsand procedures that promote consistency reliability and compliancewith regulatory requirements;

Work closely with dataowners stewards consumers and stakeholders across the department tounderstand their data needs requirements and priorities and ensurethat cataloged data assets meet their expectations.
