We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, temporary position in Wakefield, MA, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This role will focus on supporting an elementary student population and is initially set from September to December, with potential for extension through the remainder of the school year.

Position Details :
- Location : Wakefield, MA
- Position Type : Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Duration : September 2024 - December 2024 (with potential extension through the rest of the school year)
- Schedule : 8 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM
- Population : Elementary students
Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students communication goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational strategies
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Massachusetts SLP license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a temporary position with the potential for extension
