Job Description

  • Oversee and manage large-scale carpentry projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and field personnel to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive execution plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled carpenters, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless integration of their work with the carpentry scope.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring their vision is brought to life with precision and craftsmanship.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve project management processes and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in leading large-scale carpentry projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing teams of skilled carpenters and subcontractors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
