Position Overview : As a Business Development Intern at Semy, you will work closely with our team to identify and engage potential clients, and set in person and Google Meet appointments with decision-makers.

Your role will involve lead generation, market research, and direct communication with potential customers and brands.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with leaders to identify and research potential clients in specific verticals.
  • Set appointments with key decision-makers for sales presentations.
  • Send compelling emails, direct messages, and make phone calls to engage potential clients.
  • Assist in the development and execution of outreach strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on appointment-setting activities.
  • Learn and apply sales techniques to engage effectively with prospects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • You must be able to identify owners and decision-makers and speak fluently about our product to set meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Support other sales and business development tasks as needed.

About You :

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales and adept at reaching decision-makers.
  • Previous experience in technology or SAAS sales is a plus.
  • Experienced with CRM tools, lead generation techniques, and sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with technology and apps, enabling efficient navigation and utilization in a business context.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and skilled at organizing and managing data effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using digital tools for communication and organization.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new sales techniques and business strategies.
  • A resume or CV showcasing your previous business development or sales experience is beneficial.

Commitment :

This internship requires 15 to 20 dedicated hours per week that can be scheduled around your current course load.
