Creditors' rights law firm seeks an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney. Position requires client contact and a high-volume workload.
License to practice law required; license to practice in Georgia preferred.
Basic Function
Management of routine bankruptcy matters; drafting and reviewing pleadings and claims filed in bankruptcy cases; potential hearing attendance;
responding to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries; and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing filings on behalf of the clients
- Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)
- Resolving routine bankruptcy matters
- Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the Court
Required Skills
Knowledge of bankruptcy rules / laws and general Creditor Rights laws
Computer Literacy Professionalism
Keyboard Skills Attention to detail
Time Management Communication Skills
Education
Law degree JD
License to practice law (Georgia license preferred)
Admitted to District and / or Bankruptcy Courts in Georgia preferred
Experience
