Our client, a heritage apparel brand based in San Francisco, is looking for a Men's Concept Designer to join their team for a 6 month contract! Ideal candidate will be based in San Francisco and available to work onsite 2-4 days per week, however, we will also consider fully remote candidates.
Responsibilities :
- Creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends, focusing on the men's business
- Extensive trend / image / cultural influence research, mood board creation, trend decks, assist in creation of presentation visual
- Analyze fashion trends
- Partner with sourcing and materials development and provide direction on fit trends
- Reports to Design Director
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience, with a passion and expertise for menswear strongly preferred
- 5+ years of Design experience, must have previous concept and men's design experience
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Miro
