Shift : 6 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM (Switching to Night Shift : 5 : 30 PM 3 : 30 AM / 5 : 30 AM during the fall)

Position Overview :
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Broken Arrow. This role involves preparing, sandblasting, and painting compressors and other equipment with minimal supervision.
Candidates must complete an on-site test prior to hire.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cleaning & Preparation : Operate cleaning equipment to prepare surfaces for painting.
- Paint Application : Mix and apply paint systems to meet customer and company specifications.
- Sandblasting : Operate sandblasting equipment according to required standards.
- Masking & Feathering : Mask, feather, and prepare surfaces for painting; maintain tools and equipment.
- Readings & Measurements : Take DFT (Dry Film Thickness) , Psychrometer , and Surface Temperature readings.
- Safety Compliance : Follow all HSSE guidelines for health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Heavy Equipment : Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Flexibility : Willingness to assist other departments as required.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 2-5 years of relevant painting experience.
- Forklift Experience : At least 1 year of forklift operation.
- Heavy Equipment : Ability to operate scissor lifts, cranes, and forklifts.
Preferred Education :
High School Diploma or Equivalent : Required.
Physical Demands :
- Inspection & Painting : Frequently inspect and paint equipment, using stairs or ladders.
- Lifting : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
- Outdoor Work : Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in non-air-conditioned facilities.
- Mobility : Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch in confined spaces.
- PPE Compliance : Must wear all required PPE , including a full mask.
