Shift details : Full-Time, Days, 11 : 30AM-8 : 00PM, Rotating Weekends (1 weekend 8 : 00AM-8 : 00PM and the next working weekend 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM)

The medical center is a licensed, 163-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. We provide care for a diverse cultural population of younger and older adults.
Summary
Telephone Console Operator 1 are responsible for receiving incoming and placing outgoing telephone calls. Acts as the Receptionist for the facility.
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming local and long distance calls and makes proper connection to person's requested.
- Places all long distance calls and logs calls in the long distance log book.
- Handles all emergencies including fire drills and code blue.
- Keeps log for residents incoming packages.
- Keeps volunteer sign-in log.
- Receptionist for the facility.
- Responsible for training new employees on the switchboard.
- Makes all facility announcements.
- Accountable for fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with the JHS / PHT / JMPMC Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and for responding, as assigned, to any and all emergencies or disasters, either internal or external.
- Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise).
- Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Experience
Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education
High School diploma is strongly preferred.
Credentials
Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
