You're a natural UX and Web Designer. You have a creative mindset that is constantly thinking outside the box to improve digital experiences.

You enjoy building, testing, and deploying new and innovative website features that captivate audiences and deliver results through sleek and simple designs - and this is why you're the ultimate Designer.

We're looking for an ambitious professional to plant their roots with us as our newest UX and Web Designer . In this role, you will report into the Head of Lifecycle Marketing and E-Commerce and develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI and UX design strategy for our e-commerce platform.

In this role, you will collaborate with all levels of the organization to transform our e-commerce platform into a best-in-class solution that amplifies the digital experience for our patients.

As an UX and Web Designer you will

• Be responsible for the day-to-day and future-state User Experience (UX) for our online platforms inclusive of mobile
• Develop wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes that demonstrably elevate the experience of our patients
• Design and optimize tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets
• Build and implement landing pages optimized for customer segments, marketing campaigns and A / B testing
• Develop test elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
• Liaise with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated
• Ensure website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet and optimize sites for maximum speed and scalability
• Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices and maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards
• Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior
• Develop and ensure quality control measures and AODA standards are met across all designs

You will be setup for success if you have

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field (preferably with a focus on digital design, UX and UI design)
• 5 + years of demonstrated design experience within corporate or agency environments
• Experience working in a regulated environment working with distinct creative boundaries (B2B or B2C software company experience would be an asset)
• Prior experience establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices (ex : brand book and UI kit and designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with brand requirements)
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, content management systems, InDesign, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML / CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of best practices for page layouts, platforms and project tracking tools and the ability to translate investment-related graphics and data into visually appealing designs across a range of marketing materials, templates, and documents
