Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Strong background and experience in international household goods moving
  • Expertise in corporate relocations
  • Ability to provide consultative support to prospective and current clients based on knowledge of global mobility
  • Research, develop and present a market strategy
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application to document the sales process
  • Strong aptitude for teaching and education
  • Ability to travel

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work independently, excellent leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills

Education / Experience :

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; three to five years of sales management in a related business to business field, including hiring, managing and measuring an out-of area sales force;

experience in office moving, commercial furniture sales, commercial real estate services or project management is preferred.

Language Ability :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability :

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel and relevant CRM applications.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Directly supervises 6-12 employees in the Commercial Sales Division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;

rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
