Onsite Loan Processing Manager, Commercial and Bridge

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced and dynamic Loan Processing Manager to lead our client's loan processing department in the Denver Metropolitan Area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of processing experience, a successful management history, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and complete the loan processing cycle as needed.

The Processing Manager will be responsible for building out the department and managing direct reports.

Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of loan processing professionals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Offer expertise and guidance on complex loan processing cases.
• Create and implement training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance.

Department Development :

• Grow and expand the processing department to meet increasing demands.
• Set departmental goals and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline processing workflows and boost productivity.

Operational Management :

• Supervise daily processing operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven decisions to improve performance.
• Manage and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.

Quality Assurance :

• Ensure all processing activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential issues.

Process Improvement :

• Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all loan applications.

Resource Management :

• Manage department budgets and resources efficiently.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and allocate resources to meet production demands.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Develop and manage schedules to ensure timely completion of processing tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in loan processing with knowledge of residential bridge loans, construction loans, and rental property loans.
• At least 5 years in a management role with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong understanding of loan processing workflows and quality control procedures.
• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist during high-demand periods.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Willingness to work onsite as required by management.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
