Provides analytical, data mining and reporting functions for Operational Finance Marketing and Sales. This includes partnering with various business operators and finance areas delivering high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results.

JOB SUMMARY :

Provides analytical, data mining and reporting functions for Operational Finance Marketing and Sales. This includes partnering with various business operators and finance areas delivering high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results.

Additional aspect of job includes ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying departmental process improvements.

Candidate must participate in financial reviews with executive leadership.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform in-depth analysis on actual financial performance extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
• Develop ad hoc and new business programs analysis, ROI’s, and financial models utilizing sensitivity and scenario tools.
• Create and execute automation and data mining requests utilizing SQL, Access, EDW, and Excel.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business results utilizing Excel and BI tools.
• Oversee and develop key metric forecasts as well as provide budget support based on trends in the business / industry.
• Assist in the annual operating budgeting plan for the upcoming year utilizing trends and meeting business goals.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE :

5+ years’ experience within Finance. 3+ years’ experience in a competitive analytical environment preferred ;or equivalent combination of education and experience.
