Tonti Properties, a privately held real estate company, is seeking a Maintenance Intern to join our team. This role will provide hands-on training in the maintenance field and assist with daily maintenance operations at Tonti Properties.

The Maintenance Intern will play a crucial role in upholding this commitment by assisting in various maintenance tasks across Tonti Properties.
Upon completion of the Internship, full-time employment options may be available.
Required to be a student at a high school or a technical school.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily maintenance operations such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters and testing smoke detectors
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the property and its grounds
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members to ensure the efficient completion of tasks
- Uphold the company's commitment to exceptional quality and service
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a maintenance-related program at an accredited institution
- Understanding of basic maintenance tasks and repair processes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call hours as needed
