The Position

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of family-based immigration paralegal experience working in a law firm.

They will have experience completing the necessary government forms, gathering and preparing relationship evidence, and putting together applications for submission to immigration.

A clear command of the English language in written and verbal form is required. An extremely high level of attention to detail, the ability to think strategically, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential to being successful in this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with immigration clients to complete their Petitions and / or Applications to
  • USCIS, the Department of State, or National Visa Center.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to help them gather necessary evidence and provide status updates on their cases.
  • Meet with clients over Zoom to answer questions and provide guidance.
  • Prepare clients for their immigration interviews.
  • Manage and oversee individual caseload with strategic organization.
  • Liaise with government agencies to resolve issues as needed.
  • Prepare information to be given to local Congressional offices when a client’s immigration case is stalled in processing with USCIS or DOS.
  • Draft waiver arguments and other legal documents for attorney review.
  • Preparation of client immigration applications (including, but not limited to : I-129F, I-130, I-1485, I-765, I-864(A), I-751, I-90, I-129F, I-134, I-212, I-601, I-601A, I-129F, N-400, N-600(K), N-565, DS-260)
  • Develop and document new systems and procedures to streamline processes for clients and the team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Required : At least 3+ years of experience working in a law firm as a family-based immigration paralegal.
  • Previous experience meeting daily minimum billable requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously in moving cases to their next milestone from start to finish.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a desire to create and adhere to systems and procedures for efficient processing of cases.
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Results-oriented personality who likes to get things done.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Self-motivated and possesses a genuine interest in seeking positive outcomes for all clients.

We provide competitive compensation tailored to your experience, offering pay rates that exceed market standards.
