Our client is a global Alternative Asset Manager / Private Equity Firm currently seeking to add a talented VP - Product Specialist to their Private Markets Team.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to own all business development / product marketing & strategy efforts for newly launched fund, working closely with a highly efficient Fund Marketing & Capital Raising Teams.

This individual will play a key role in; product marketing sales, new business development and spear-heading strategic growth for a new business line.

Ideal candidate will be asked to partner with senior managers across various business lines with the intent to maximize and improve business strategy and new business development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic growth plan within firms Alt platform to assist with launch of new product line
  • Enhance and educate new and existing clients to intent to drive business sales via marketing, content creation and organic growth efforts
  • Lead business development efforts in marketing the fund to institutional investors such as public and private pensions, endowments, asset managers, and family offices, and assist in maintaining select consultant relationships
  • Produce internal analysis and external marketing materials related to product offerings and new fund launch
  • Responsible for implementing a systematic marketing and strategic marketing correspondence for newly launched fund / , developing, and launching new products and strategic business development initiatives
  • Present industry trends, market overviews, and competitive landscapes to prioritize and transform retail distribution strategies and focus product development opportunities.
  • Review and prepare marketing materials with respect to firms Sales and Marketing efforts
  • Lead pitch presentations, prepare marketing materials for investors and writes product language for fund commentaries regarding market updates, performance and attribution, and investment views across equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes
  • Make recommendations for strategic growth initiative with effort to align resources an improve internal response channels with focus on growing new business
  • Provide various ad hoc research and analysis as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5+ years of Private Wealth / Business Development / Relationship Management experience specific to Private Client / investor relations and / or Product Development
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office / PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills mandatory
  • Advanced Technical and Financial writing skills mandatory
  • Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • Must be detail oriented
