Job Responsibilities The Medical Records - Central Supply Coordinator will maintain all medical records in the facility for proper order and completeness.
Additional responsibilities :
- Prepare admissions and re-admission chart records both hard copy and electronic.
- Complete audits and validation reports communicating all findings to DON.
- Maintain the records of all discharged residents in proper order.
Job Requirements If you are compassionate and want a career with a growing company , this is the position for you! Here’s what else you’ll need to be successful in this role :
- Education : Graduation from an accredited school with the equivalent of a graduating diploma. College and / or Medical Billing / Coding schooling required or must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience : Prior training desirable but not necessary. Will receive job training and in-service. Experience in Long Term Care field preferred.
- Certificate / License : RHIT credential is desirable but not required.
