We are currently seeking an experienced and highly-skilled CAD Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The CAD Manager will be responsible for overseeing the CAD department, ensuring that the team produces high-quality work that meets the needs of our clients and projects.
This role requires a deep understanding of CAD System Management, CAD Software Proficiency, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling, and Engineering Design.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong background in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all operations of the CAD department, ensuring the production of high-quality work that meets project requirements and deadlines.
- Develop, implement, and enforce CAD standards and procedures, ensuring the department operates at the highest level of efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor CAD staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure CAD designs align with project specifications and client needs.
- Review and approve all CAD designs before they are delivered to clients or used in projects.
- Maintain the CAD software, including updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Manage the CAD database, ensuring all designs are properly saved, backed up, and easily accessible.
- Continually evaluate and improve CAD processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD technology and industry trends, incorporating relevant advancements into our CAD operations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD Manager or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD System Management and CAD software, including AutoCAD.
- Experience with 3D Modeling and Engineering Design.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to oversee a team and manage projects.
- Exceptional technical skills, with an in-depth understanding of CAD systems and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest CAD technology and industry trends.
