Summary
Under general supervision, works within a specialized function with work verified as needed. Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and service orders.
Writes routine reports and correspondence. Requires the ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of the organization.
The ability to perform basic numerical, statistical, and / or financial analysis is required. Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
This position requires working in the office, no remote work.
The pay rate for this position is $22.00-$26.00 / hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides clerical and administrative support services to the Program Management team and other staff as requested.
- Prepares reports, budgets, and contracts and assists in preparing special materials for presentations.
- Maintains records, inventories, purchases, and organizes office supplies and equipment.
- Monitors facilities budget, prepares facilities monthly reports, and supervises building maintenance and / or janitorial functions.
- Coordinates with the IT department to provide support and equipment as required.
- Coordinate and track travel and housing arrangements for project crews and staff.
- Performs on-site human resources tasks.
- Train new employees on the timekeeping system.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of office / facilities experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency in PC operations and software (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction / TAPS
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk, including the ability to pass on information via the telephone, and verbally communicate with clients, staff, and other employees, hear and see in order to perform his or her duties in a safe manner, including occasionally driving.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, bend, push, pull, and stand is needed to perform all requirements of this position.
