Staffmark is hiring a Custodian in Walhalla, SC, to help maintain County buildings in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
In this role, you'll perform various cleaning duties and report any repair needs to management. Don't wait, apply today!
The Custodian will be responsible for collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper products.
Additional tasks include vacuuming and shampooing carpets, sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing tile floors, as well as cleaning both interior and exterior windows.
You'll also move and dispose of furniture and equipment as directed, notify management of necessary repairs and supplies, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay : $14.50 per hour
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with six months of related work experience or a combination of education and training that provides the necessary skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and proper chemical usage.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of general custodial and lawn maintenance procedures.
- Physical capability to perform all duties.
- Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment.
