A Day in the Life : As a Senior Product Manager on Hertz’s consumer product team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in our digital customer experience, ranging from landing pages to booking flow to accounts / loyalty.
You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to build scalable solutions and ship features in a complex environment.
Your role will involve modernizing legacy applications, managing technical debt, and integrating various systems to enhance the customer experience.
What You’ll Do : Define and prioritize product features that will enable the growth and scale of Hertz’s initiatives, which is one of the major priorities of the business.
Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.
Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach from pilot to scaled solutions.
Communicate across constituencies : within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (partners, investors, candidates, etc.
Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision makingArticulate and systematically test product hypothesesNavigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicatorsIdentify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools.
What We’re Looking For : 4+ years of Product Management experienceA 4-year degree in Computer Science or substantially similar programExperience shipping successful consumer facing products : including defining outcome-driven product roadmaps, prioritizing competing requests and managing backlogs.
Demonstrated strength in metrics driven execution.Experience rolling out whole product that includes system capabilities, business processes, customer communications and organizational changeExperience with agile development methods and toolsExperience executing user researchDemonstrated ability to work cross functionally and build bridges across the organizationExperience working with geographically distributed teamStrong communication skills both written and oralAnalytical skills and experience applying a data-driven approach to product definition and developmentExcellent problem-solving skills;
ability to resolve issues effectively and efficientlyExperience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma.
Specific experience in vehicle rental, used vehicle markets or travel services is desirable.We expect the starting salary to be around $150,000 with annual bonus and profit sharing eligibility.
