Java/SQL Developer

Job Title : Java / SQL Developer Location : Houston, TX Type of Position : 6-month Contract to Hire Environment : Onsite About the Job : We're seeking a skilled Java / SQL Developer with substantial experience in both Java and SQL.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting Java-based enterprise applications with significant SQL integration.

The ability to efficiently switch between Java and SQL is critical to optimizing performance and resolving issues. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and troubleshoot Java-based enterprise applications.

Seamlessly integrate and optimize SQL within the application. Utilize SSRS for reporting and data management. Collaborate effectively with the team to communicate progress and ideas.

Address and resolve application issues to improve performance. Ensure smooth functionality and efficiency in both Java and SQL components.

Must-Have : 5+ years of experience in Java application development. 5+ years of SQL experience, including strong skills with SSRS.

Proven experience with Spring / Spring MVC. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and share progress openly.

Availability to work onsite 5 days a week. Nice to Have : Previous experience working in a similar environment with both Java and SQL integration.
