- Assists with a line change-over, packaging equipment set-up, start-up and troubleshooting ensuring efficient operation for production needs and goals.
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on machines, equipment and plant facilities. This
includes problem identification, assessment of material requirements, requisition placement, and repair.
- Assist in inspecting machinery and equipment to detect irregularities or malfunctions and perform required repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Reviews and follows safety procedures for all equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment to perform duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Handles multiple projects and prioritizes work efficiently.
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Trade school or work-related experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be flexible in dealing with others in the organization and with work assignments / projects.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanics and other maintenance duties
- Team player and must work well with others
- Self-organized, self-motivated; ability to work independent of supervision
- Attendance is essential to job qualification. No unexcused absence is acceptable.
