How do I make an impact on my team? Our Hotel General Manager is dedicated to building and maintaining a great team in order to provide all guests with a first-rate customer service experience.

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the day-to-day operations of the property
  • Oversee property staffing to include recruitment & selection, orientation, training & development, scheduling, counseling, performance management and other team member relations issues
  • Craft the budget for the property to include sales, marketing, operations and a strategic revenue management plan
  • Lead the property management team to ensure that product and service quality standards are maintained
  • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to maintain standards set forth by company and property brand
  • Maintain personal contact with guests, clients, and community organizations
  • Ensure safety and security of the property, staff and guests and responding to all emergency situations
  • Remain current on industry trends and local market activities

What does success look like in this role?

  • College degree or at least five years of related work experience in business management, hospitality or related field
  • Strong customer service skills to include problem-solving and complaint resolution
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organized
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Reliability and honesty
  • Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
