Job Details
Job Responsibilities :
- Hire, Train, and Manage a the payment solutions team.
- Maintenance of Team Manuals : Notify the training staff about policies and procedures and maintain team manuals while adhering to SOPs.
- Assist the team with advanced or troubled skip-tracing duties to locate debtors, including identity assets for garnishments or execution.
Communicate with third parties to acquire debtor information.
- Responsibility for overseeing employees' time and attendance and determining staffing needs are always met.
- Inventory Management delegating workload, tracking and reporting of team stats.
- Ability to assist the team with an escalated call while remaining calm and using the situation as a teaching tool.
- Reviewing work for accuracy and productivity, utilizing various methods of reporting.
- Collaborate with the firm’s project manager regarding needed changes in processes / procedures, forms, etc.
- Oversee debtors' diary accounts for subsequent action while documentation accounts thoroughly,
- Document potential staffing issues in accordance with HR department guidelines for employee Performance Management (PIP) procedures.
- Working with the HR department on staffing and interviewing to fill open vacancies within the department.
Job Qualifications :
- 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor, or team leader in a debt collection environment.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to comply with all firm policies and procedures.
- Ability to work accurately, meticulously, and highly productively while adhering to time constraints and daily deadlines.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe). CLS is a plus.
- Eagerness to adapt and learn about evolving technology and software programs.
- Must have excellent analytical, research, investigative, and organizational skills.
- Maintain working knowledge of company products and services.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and contribute to every aspect of a team environment.
