This position is a Full-time non-exempt , typical schedule is Monday-Friday.

What you will do :

  • Communicates finance reporting information and data to various departments and teams.
  • Directly responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy on posting of all member / customer financial transactions.
  • Manages payment processing of physical checks, associated reports / rejections / exceptions and follow up as necessary.
  • Monthly reconciling and recording of journal entries associated with the month end close process.
  • Responsible for entering / auditing end of day transactions.
  • Reconciles resort bank accounts.
  • Responsible for external and internal accounts receivable.
  • Maintains POS users and functionality around the resort.
  • Helps maintain PCI compliance around the resort.
  • Responsible for preparing statements for 40 vacation homes and ensuring taxes are paid / reconciled.
  • Prepare and remit lodging and personal property taxes for resort entities.
  • Closely monitor membership accounts receivable and works with the membership manager to ensure payment.
  • Participate in yearly audit review.
  • Manage and reconcile capital expenditures.
  • Assist in maintaining internal accounting and financial controls.

  • You must have a strong work ethic and initiative.

What we are looking for :

  • Minimum of three years experience related accounting work experience with general understanding of computerized billing software and general accounting functions.
  • Experience in account reconciliations.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel for creation, generation, and analysis of reports, an intermediate level understanding is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and literacy; Microsoft Office, databases, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Intacct accounting software or Resort Suite preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
