Waltonen Engineering is seeking a dedicated NX Instructor to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of Geometric Solutions' Managing Director
- Provide course instruction and demonstration in an in-person and / or online class setting for NX learners
- If teaching online, work with IT to set up and maintain the professional and seamless presentation of virtual classes
- Attend a mandatory orientation session and complete online compliance training
- Must teach live in-person and / or online for all scheduled class sessions and respond to participant questions and / or feedback
- Keep abreast of developments in latest features, tools, and industry trends and / or instruction and propose new classes annually to Program Manager, if applicable
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Siemens NX software including CAD, CAM, and CAE
- NX Design and NX CAM Manufacturing Professional-level certifications are required
- Strong problem-solving abilities to assist students in overcoming software-related challenges
- If teaching online, must be willing and able to teach virtually while maintaining the high-quality class experience that participants expect of in-person classes
- Must have demonstrated skills and / or experience in instruction
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or Related Field
