- Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents\n
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses\n
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills\n
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records\n
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care\n
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time\n
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)\n\nRequirements / Qualifications : \n
- At least 4 years nursing experience\n
- Active, Arizona nursing license (REQUIRED)\n
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card\n
- Trach experience (Highly Preferred)\n
- Pediatric experience (Highly Preferred)\n
- Valid TB Test (within 1 year)\n
- CPR / BLS Certification (No online courses accepted)\n
- Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!\n
- Physical Demands : This position requires employees to use their hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may require lifting, bending, and crouching.
