Manager, Procurement

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange Inc (ICE) is looking for a highly motivated and proactive leader with excellent analytical, communication and business acumen skills to join our dynamic Procurement team.

This person must have a strong understanding of strategic sourcing with expertise in managing the global facilities spend category.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in indirect procurement with a focus on category management, spend analysis, strong contract negotiations and analytical skills, exceeding savings targets, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and geographies to ensure cost effective and efficient procurement practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Proactively analyze full category spend with the goal of increasing efficiencies, reducing costs and improving terms
• Lead negotiation and contract management of large-scale agreements across North America, EMEA and APAC regions
• Develop and implement new sourcing strategies for facilities related goods and services including maintenance, construction, supplies, capital expenditures
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement practices and supplier relationships
• Supervise, mentor and support a team of Procurement Analysts
• Learn the specifics of all purchasing categories and be able to back up other team members as necessary
• Prepare and analyze various Procurement reports including category spend, cost analysis and savings achievements

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of indirect Procurement experience in managing the facilities purchasing spend category at a large global organization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets and drive actionable insights
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Must be efficient in problem solving and identifying workarounds
• Must possess sound judgment and meet ethical obligations to perform purchasing duties on behalf of the company
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, Tableau

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
